Two teams expected to compete for their league titles met on Friday night for their season opener. It was Honeoye, representing the Finger Lakes West, defeating East Rochester out of the Wayne County league, 48-44.Honeoye (1-0) was led by senior Ben Cratsley’s 17 points. Branden Curtis added 10.For East Rochester (0-1), Phinehas Jacques was high with 15.
