New York Chiropractic College to Graduate 95 Doctors of Chiropractic Seneca Falls: On Saturday, December 1, 2011 at 10:00 am, New York Chiropractic College will hold commencement exercises in its Standard Process Health and Fitness Center conferring degrees to 95 Doctors of Chiropractic. The doors will open at 9:00 am. Rebecca Getzke, Student Government Association President, will address the assembly.Louis Sportelli, DC, President of the NCMIC Group will deliver the commencement address. A frequent speaker and graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Sportelli has held many leadership roles including President of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society, Chairman of the Board of the American Chiropractic Association, and President of the World Federation of Chiropractic. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Palmerton Hospital and is currently chairman of the Governance Committee of Blue Mountain Health Systems.Dr. Sportelli has lectured extensively throughout the world addressing topics that include risk management, ethics, communication and malpractice and engaged in many radio, television, newspaper and magazine interviews as a chiropractic spokesperson.His list of accolades includes ACA Chiropractor of the Year in 1992, Ohio State Chiropractic Association Chiropractor of the Year in 1994, and in 2004 receipt of the George Arvidson Award for Meritorious Service to Chiropractic from the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board.
