On Monday, Clayton Sperr, age 49 of Penn Yan, was arrested by Penn Yan Police after he repeatedly interfered with an official police death investigation.When Sperr was ordered by Penn Yan Police to stay out of the area of the investigation, Sperr raised his fist and approached a police officer in an aggressive manner.Sperr actively resisted arrest and was taken into custody. He was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of marijuana.Sperr was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court on charges and remanded to the Yates County Jail on $500 bail / $1,000 bond.
