South Seneca hosting all-county music festival

For the first time in decades, South Seneca Middle/High School has the privilege of hosting the All-County Music Festival under the direction of Ray Zajac, SSCS 6th-12th Band Director, who is also Festival and Ensemble Chairperson of this event. The Music Festival practices will take place November 16-17 with a final concert on November 17, at 2pm at South Seneca’s Main Street campus in Ovid. The concert is free and open to the public with a goodwill offering taken.All-County Music Festival at SS includes all schools in Tompkins and Seneca Counties. Fifteen schools in all will be participating in this event, and 22 talented students from South Seneca. All-County includes Middle School Band, High School Band and Orchestral Band. The Music Festival concert will feature three bands: Middle School Band, High School Band and Orchestral Band that includes guest conductors. For more information see www.southseneca.com
