The race for Alderperson in the 4th Ward in the City of Ithaca was a runaway victory for Stephen J. Smith who captured 84% of the vote on Tuesday defeating Misha Checkovich by a total count of 357-65.3 of 3 districts have reported but the results remain unofficial as of 10:15 pm.
