New public information officer at Geneva schools

The Geneva City School District has appointed Heather Swanson as its new Public Information Officer.Swanson has a wide background in the public relations/media field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English writing and fine arts and a master’s degree in international relations. She has worked at several newspapers, but most recently the Finger Lakes Times as education reporter.She will be the media contact for delays, closings, emergencies and news.
