On November 1st, 2012 at approximately 11:39 am the Seneca Falls Police Department responded to intersection of West Bayard Street and Bridge Street for the report of a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident.A vehicle being operated by Sandra R. Allen, age 50 of Clifton Springs ran a red light and was t-boned by another vehicle that was being operated by Daniel A. Barto, age 69 of Seneca Falls.Allen and a passenger in her vehicle were both transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. Barto and a passenger in his vehicle were also transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance.Allen was issued a citation for passing a red signal. Allen is to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Town Court on November 15th, 2012 at 10 am to answer the charge. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The Seneca Falls Police Department were assisted by Seneca Falls Fire Department and North SenecaAmbulance.
