Seneca Sheriff announces sex-offender spot checks

Seneca County Sheriff Jack S. Stenberg announced today that Seneca County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators will be conducting random, unannounced spot checks of convicted sex offenders living in Seneca County.”We want to make certain our children are safe and are able to enjoy the traditional Halloween activities without worry” said Sheriff Stenberg.We encourage parents to visit the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office website at http://sheriff.co.seneca.ny.us and click on the Sex Offender tab to search for convicted sex offender locations in Seneca County.
