A Seneca County Grand Jury has filed an indictment charging Angnem M. Green, 29 years old, of Geneva, with Attempted Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree. The charge is a class D felony, which may be punishable by a maximum sentence of seven years.The indictment alleges that Green on October 1, 2012 in the Town of Seneca Falls attempted to possess marijuana having an aggregate weight of more than ten pounds. The indictment resulted from an investigation conducted by the Seneca Falls Police Department. Green will be arraigned in Seneca County Court on November 5, 2012. The indictment is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
