Shane P. Mervis, age 20, of Penn Yan was arrested by Penn Yan Police on Tuesday evening after an investigation into a domestic incident. Mervis was charged in connection with two separate incidents with the same female victim.During an argument on Monday night with the victim, Mervis shoved the female and subjected her to unwanted physical contact.On Tuesday, Mervis again subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact and when the victim attempted to leave the vehicle that the two were in, Mervis physically restrained her preventing her from leaving.Mervis was arrested and charged with unlawful imprisonment 2nd and two counts of harassment 2nd. He was arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $500 cash and $1000 bond.
