Schuyler County Health Department is offering the next Free Rabies Clinic.To be held on Wednesday November 7, from 6-8pm at the Montour Falls Town Highway Barn, Havana Glen Rd., Montour Falls, New York 14865* We continue to have positive rabies cases throughout the county* This reinforces the importance of keeping your dogs, cats and ferrets vaccinated against rabies.* These animals can be vaccinated as early as three months.* An unvaccinated animal that bites or is bitten may be subject to confinement at an approved facility for up to six months at the owner’s expense.* In some cases, the animal may be destroyed.* Please bring cats/ferrets in carriers; dogs on a leashFor any questions, please call the Schuyler County Public Health Department, 535-6431(information line)
