Three arrested in theft of ATV in Seneca Falls

Seneca Falls Police arrested three males following the investigation of a report of three males pushing an ATV (four-wheeler) down Haigh Street at 1:06 am on Tuesday morning.Initially, the subjects and ATV and were not located and officers began checking the area observing a shed door open from a Toledo Street address.After speaking with the homeowners it was discovered that an ATV was stolen from their yard. Officers stopped a vehicle seen in the area with three male occupants a short time later. A K-9 handler and dog from the Seneca Co. Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and was able to locate the ATV concealed behind a residence. After further investigation it was determined that the subjects from the traffic stop were involved in the larceny.The following were charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, Conspiracy in the 5th Degree and Trespass:Joseph H. Greenwood IV, age 20, of 11849 Pinewood Drive,Wolcott, NY (additionally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd), a 16 year old male from Seneca Falls and a 16 year old male from Wolcott (both eligible for Youthful Offender Status).All were arraigned in the Town of Fayette Court by Judge Joseph Sapio and were ROR’d to reappear in Seneca Falls Town Court on October 24th, 2012 at 11am.
