When Penn Yan and Midlakes met on the gridiron in Phelps on Friday night, one thing was a given… One team would pick up their first win of the season and the other would finish the 2012 regular season win-less.The Penn Yan Mustangs made it clear it would be the orange and blue who would taste victory for the first time as they took control of the game early and ended up with a 28-7 win.Shane Bloom, Mustangs QB, was 7-11 passing for 110 yards and a touchdown. John Martisch paced the Mustangs’ rushing attack with 131 yards on 20 carries. For Midlakes, who finished the season at 0-7, it was Jordan Miller who found the end zone for the Screaming Eagles only points.
