Geneva man arrested on Ovid bench warrant

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 5th 2012 at about 2 pm Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Erik D. Beers age 29 of 301 East North Street Geneva on an Ovid Town Court issued bench warrant. Beers was stopped on Border City Road by Sheriff’s Deputies for an unrelated traffic offense. During the investigation it was discovered that Beers had an outstanding bench warrant from the Ovid Town Court. Beers was arraigned before Town Justice VanCleef and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250.00 cash or $500.00
