On Friday afternoon, SFPD investigated a five vehicle personal injury accident on Fall St near Heath St in the Town of Seneca Falls. A vehicle being operated by Phoebe Williams, age 33, of 19 South Seneca St Waterloo, NY was traveling eastbound on Fall St when she failed to stop in time for other vehicles that were stopped in traffic. Williams vehicle rear-ended a vehicle being operated by Linda Sanderson, age 64, of 927 SR 414 Waterloo, NY. Sanderson’s vehicle then rear-ended a motorcycle being operated by David Elmer, age 28, of 12281 Old State Rd Cato, NY and a vehicle being operated by Tonya Bannister, age 18, of 21 Courtney Dr Seneca Falls, NY. Bannister’s vehicle then rear-ended a vehicle being operated by Lawrence Ormsby age 31 of 25 Peterman Rd Seneca Falls, NY.Sanderson was treated at the scene by Seneca Falls Fire Rescue for neck pain, her passenger Amanda Sanderson, age 20, of the same address was uninjured. A 9 year old passenger was uninjured.Ormsby’svehicle was driven from the scene, while the other four vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene. Elmer was issued summons for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree and Operating Out of Class.Elmer was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court Judge Mahoney and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. Elmer posted bail of $500 at his arraignment. He is to reappear in Town Court on 10-24-12.
