Erin Mattison, age 29 of Penn Yan, is being charged with allowing her two dogs to run at large in the Village of Penn Yan after the dogs got loose and bit three people.The dogs attacked and bit a 12 year old boy on Hamilton Street late last week and when a female passerby attempted to help the boy, she was bitten as well.These two were able to get away from the dogs with the assistance of another passerby.After that incident, a third male was walking by, unaware of what had just occurred, and was also bitten.The male and 12 year old were both taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for treatment.The Penn Yan Police Department has submitted a dangerous dog complaint to the court.
