Penn Yan Police were called to a report of a vehicle larceny at a North Avenue residence. Once on the scene, Patrick Meland was found to be in possession of stolen items.The items included a laptop computer and hunting equipment. The total value of all items was estimated to be over $3,000.Meland was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the 3rd degree, a class F felony. He was arraigned and placed in jail with a bail set at $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond.Police are currently looking for a second subject they suspect was involved in the incident.
