The Seneca County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal MVA that occurred on September 25th 2012 at about 8:00 pm on Burgess Rd in the Town of WaterlooDeputies report that a vehicle being operated by Anthony E. Grillone, age 76 of 1027 Stone Church Rd Waterloo was north bound on Burgess Rd when he failed to negotiate a curve. Grillone’s vehicle left the roadway to the east and entered a ditch before hitting a stone culvert and overturning.Grillone, who was alone and not wearing a seat belt was extricated from the vehicle by the Waterloo Fire Department and transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and Burgess Rd was closed for several hours. The cause of the accident is still under investigation
