On Wednesday shortly before 2:00 pm, Geneva Police responded to 295 Hamilton Street, Apartment 14, Geneva, NY for a report of an armed robbery/home invasion at that residence.Upon arrival it was learned that 4 individuals wearing masks, and dark hooded sweatshirts entered the apartment, bound the two male occupants (hands/feet) and struck them in the face with a pistol one of the suspects possessed. Both victims refused medical treatment at the scene.The preliminary descriptions are as follows:Suspect 15ft 6inches Spanish speaking, no further descriptionSuspect 25ft 6inches ripped jeans, white sneakers with blue stripe, Spanish speakingSuspect 35ft 6 inches, Spanish speaking, and no further descriptionSuspect 45ft 6 inches, never spoke, and no further descriptionProperty to include cell phones, jewelry, and a large amount of currency were taken in the robbery. At the conclusion the suspects left the residence in unknown direction leaving the victims bound. At the current time, Geneva Police Detective unit is aggressively chasing leads, reviewing video and asks the communities help in any identification or knowledge of the incident. Suspects would have been in the area of Hamilton St. (from Pulteney to Reed Street or Washington Street) between the hours of 1300-1415 possibly on foot or in an unknown vehicle. Based upon the information known to Geneva Police at this time, this is an isolated incident where the victims were targeted. Ontario County Sheriffs K9 and NYSP assisted in the response.
