On Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at about 11:31 AM, the Waterloo Police Department arrested Andy W. Bishop (age 30) of 85 Church Street, Waterloo, NY 13165 for harassment 2nd degree, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief 4th degree. Following an investigation conducted by the Waterloo Police Department on September 11th, 2012, it is alleged that at about 6:30 PM, Bishop was involved in a domestic altercation at his residence with an ex-girlfriend. At the time of the altercation, Bishop slapped a female twice on the side of the head, spit in her face and forcefully grabbed their child when the victim stated she was contacting police. It is also alleged that when the victim and the child were leaving the driveway in her vehicle, Bishop kicked the passenger side door causing approximately $100.00 of damage.Following the investigation, an arrest warrant was signed by Judge Barto of the Waterloo Village Court and Bishop was taken into custody without incident at his residence. He was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court, held in the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1500.00 bail and is to reappear at a later date to answer to the charges. A “stay away” order of protection was issued for both victims.
