The Newark Reds Varsity Football team struck early and often on Friday night in Yates County to capture their first win of the season 61-16 over Penn Yan. Newark moves to 1-1 on the young season while the Mustangs start the 2012 campaign at 0-2.For the Penn Yan defense, it was the second week in a row giving up more than 60 points after surrendering 67 points to Palmyra-Macedon last week in a 2 point loss.
