The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday night at about 10:00 pm Sheriff Deputies heard a loud crash that came from the area of Center St. in the Village of Waterloo.While Deputies were responding to check the area a vehicle turned onto Virginia St with a flat front tire and damage to the right side of the vehicle.The driver, who was identified as David A Lewis JR age 21 of Rochester NY, stated that he stuck a telephone pole on Center St. Deputies along with the assistance of Waterloo PD were able to find the location of the accident and discovered several car parts scattered in the area.During the investigation it was determined that Lewis was under the influence of drugs and he was charged by Sheriff’s Deputies with DWAI Drugs and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.Lewis is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on October 3rd at 9:00 am to answer the charges
