Philip White, age 28, or Penn Yan was arrested by Penn Yan Police early Friday morning after a complaint of a shoplifter from a local business.White ran from the store after he was observed stealing two donuts, valued at $1.44, from the business.Officers were directed to White’s location by a store employee and found White hiding in bushes behind the municipal parking lot off Jacob Street.White was arrested and charged with petit larceny and issues an appearance ticket to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
