On Wednesday September 4, 2012, the Geneva Police Departments Drug Enforcement Unit was conducting an investigation into the sale of crack cocaine from 43 Herbert St. as well as open air drug sales in the area of Wadsworth St. and E. North St. in which the suspects are utilizing bicycles.Christopher Allen was stopped and arrested and was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Class D Felony.A quantity of crack cocaine was recovered as well as a considerable amount of US Currency and a weapon. Allen has a prior felony conviction and has close ties to Rochester. Additional charges are pending. Held on $25k cash or $50k bond.
