Seneca Community Players marks its 40th anniversary this October with a dinner and a stage production featuring highlights of shows produced by the group since 1972.The “Come Home to SCP” reunion dinner kicks off the weekend on Friday, October 12th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Seneca Falls / Waterloo Holiday Inn – located at 2468 Mound Road (State Route 414) in Waterloo, NY. Past and present players, along with the public, are invited to come and reminisce. The evening will include dinner, music, a cash bar & surprises throughout the evening. Tickets are $30, and reservations are required.On Saturday, October 13th, at 8:00 p.m. the show “SCP’s Fabulous Forty” will be staged at the Waterloo High School auditorium, 96 Stark Street, Waterloo. Past and current directors, actors, singers and dancers will recreate scenes from SCP’s 40 years of community theater, in a one-performance-only multi-media multi-talented show that is not to be missed! Tickets are $15 and are available in advance and at the door.A souvenir book containing photos, posters, programs and reminiscence of the theatre groups 40 years will be available for purchase during the weekend for $10.Tickets are available for individual portions of the weekend or as a full package.
