On August 26th at approximately 4:00 PM Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a two motorcycle personal injury accident. Deputies Report that James Wagner age 60 of Wayne, New Jersey was operating a 1971 Harley Davidson and Ellen Zanetti age 62 of Morristown, New Jersey was operating a 2003 Harley Davidson with a group of motorcyclists.The group was heading Northbound on State Route 414 when they attempted to slow down to make a right hand turn on to Ovid-Lodi Townline Road. Wagner failed to slow down and rear ended the bike operated by Zanetti.Wagner suffered from head and upper body injuries and Zanetti had minor lacerations to her arms. Both were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by South Seneca Ambulance.Lodi Fire Department also assisted at the scene with traffic control. Wagner was cited for following too closely and operating with a hel met not approved by DOT. Wagner is to appear in the Town of Lodi court on September 26th at 10:00 AM to answer to the charges.
