On Thursday, August 23, 2012, Officers of the GPD Drug Enforcement Unit, investigating criminal activities at 500 Pulteney St. observed Stanley J. McKoy 3/6/1989. McKoy was wanted on a Parole Absconder warrant for failing to abide by his Parole restrictions. Officers approached McKoy to place him under arrest and McKoy fled on foot.After a brief foot pursuit, McKoy was apprehended without further incident. During arrest, McKoy was found to be in possession of a gravity knife and due to McKoy being a convicted Felon for Robbery 2nd the knife and style of knife brings the charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, Class D Felony. McKoy was also charged with Resisting Arrest as well as the Parole Absconder Warrant. McKoy has no permanent address and has listed himself as homeless. He was arraigned and sent to Ontario County Jail on $25000 cash, $50000 bond.
