Earlier this morning, a truck carrying 1000 gallons of road paint tipped over, spilling the paint into the road on lower Steuben Street in Montour Falls.The Schuyler County Emergency Management Office and Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department have closed this portion of the road (Mill Street to Belle Cornell), up to Schuyler Hospital and the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.Patients for the Hospital, Montour Falls Primary Care Center, and September Hill Women’s Center are encouraged to leave additional time due to the detour.All traffic will be detoured for most of the day while clean-up is completed.For more information, contact the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department at (607) 535-8222.
