Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary of a residence under construction which occurred between Sunday August 5th and Saturday August 11th on Dresserville Rd. in the Town of Sempronius. Unknown person (s) forced entry to a mobile home and a storage building and stole several power tools, a generator and three 250’ rolls of copper wire. Perpetrators also attempted to tear wiring out of the walls of the residence. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Brian Schenck at (315) 253-3545.
