Two arrested in Seneca Falls crack cocaine sales

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division arrested two subjects following an investigation into crack cocaine sales in the Town of Seneca Falls. On August 10, 2012, Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged: Stanley E. Smith, 22, of 9505 Old Route 31, Clyde, New York, with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies, Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, Class A Misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation. It is alleged that Smith sold crack cocaine on two separate occasions in the Town of Seneca Falls. It is further alleged that Smith sold the crack cocaine in the presence of two children and possessed marihuana at the time of his arrest. Smith was arraigned in the Ovid Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail/$30,000 secured bond. Smith is to reappear in the Lodi Town Court on August 16, 2012 at 9:30am. Natalie R. Osorio, 26, of 8659 Bishop Road, Lyons, New York, was also charged with two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree, Class A Misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation. It is alleged that Osorio possessed marihuana in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop while there were two children present. Osorio was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on September 6, 2012 at 10am Members of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Uniform Road Patrol were assisted by the Seneca Falls Police Department.
