Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 08/03/2012 at 7:12 PM Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Guy C McIntyre, age 57, of 252 Border City Road, in the Town of Waterloo NY. McIntyre was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.It is alleged that starting in June 2012 and continuing through August 3rd 2012 McIntyre engaged in a course of conduct detrimental to the mental and moral welfare of a 14 year old female. McIntyre is accused of sending numerous inappropriate electronic text messages and e-mails to this child via her cell phone and I-pod. These messages solicited an adult, romantic type relationship with s aid child and solicited this child to meet and correspond with McIntyre without parent’s knowledge.McIntyre was arrested upon the execution of a search warrant on McIntyre’s person at a Village of Waterloo public place. McIntyre was arraigned in the Town of Fayette Court and Committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1500 cash, $3000 bond bail.The investigation is continuing. Anyone with further information involving McIntyre is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division at 315-220-3443. The Waterloo Police Department is assisting with the case.
