Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 5th 2012 at 08:36 a.m. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area 8922 Townsendville Road for the report of a one vehicle roll over accident.Driver Jessikah B. Everts age 18; of 1862 State Route 96 Trumansburg, NY 14886 reports that she was traveling northbound on Townsendville Road at which time she swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. Everts lost control of her vehicle at which time the vehicle left the west side of the highway and rolled multiple times. Everts vehicle then struck a group of trees before coming to rest on its roof back in the southbound lane of travel of the highway.Everts was transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca for treatment of right leg and arm injuries.Everts was issued a traffic ticket for speed not reasonable and prudent and i s scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Lodi Court on 09/19/2012.Also assisting at the scene was Lodi Fire Department.
