On August 1, 2012 at approximately 12:08AM the Seneca Falls Police arrested Caleb C. Holtz, age 21 of 33 East Main Street Clifton Springs, NY. Police observed Holtz driving his vehicle northbound on Souhan Lane failing to stop at a stop sign. Police then stopped Holtz and administered field sobriety tests. Hotlz then failed all three sobriety tests and was then placed into custody for DWI. Holtz was then transported back to the police department where he then consented to take the Chemical Test. Holtz then gave a BAC reading of 0.12%. Holtz was then charged with Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign, Operating Out of Class, DWI and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC Greater than 0.08%. Holtz was then arraigned in front of acting Justice Mattoon at the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was then committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail $2,000.00 ins bond. Holtz next court date is set for August 15, 2012 at 9:00AM.
