The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 07-31-12 at 0155 hrs Deputies arrested Joseph J. Knapp 36, of 2147 West Seneca St. Ovid NY on a charge of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First degree. The charge stems from a disorderly conduct investigation in the Town of Ovid on 07-31-12 at 0056 hrs where a minor was found to be intoxicated. Deputies later found a large amount of alcohol at Knapp’s residence where it is alleged that he gave to and allowed the minor to consume which led to the minor’s intoxication. Knapp was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear before the Town of Ovid court August 14th 2012 to answer charges.
