Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one car motor vehicle accident on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at about 5:58 pm on Long Hill Road in the Town of Moravia. The vehicle, a 2003 Ford suburban, was east bound when the operator lost control on a wet curve striking a ditch.At the time, rear seat passenger Tatiana Arnoux (age 42) of Spring Valley, New York, was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical in Syracuse for unknown injuries. On Sunday, July 22nd at 2:00 pm she died as a result of those injuries. She was not wearing a seatbelt.The vehicle was being operated by the victim’s daughter, Jennifer Ireus (age 18) who was operating on a Learner’s Permit; she was not injured. Front seat passenger Isaac Arnoux (age 56) was also not injured. Both were from the same address in Spring Valley, New York.
