Arrest after vehicle rolls on Fall St. in Seneca Falls

On July 16th, 2012 at approximately 5:45 am, Seneca Falls Police arrested Benjamin M. Hackney age 21 of 238 Fall Street Seneca Falls New York, 13148. Police responded to a one-car personal injury motor vehicle accident in the area of 2858 East Bayard Street Ext. Seneca Falls New York, 13148. On arrival, officers observed one vehicle rolled over off the road with Hackney still inside the vehicle. After conducting an investigation of the accident, Hackney was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Mercy Flight flew Hackney to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse New York for treatment of his injuries. Officers responded to Upstate Medical Center where Hackney was released on a uniform traffic ticket. Hackney is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on July 26th, 2012 at 10:00 am to answer his charges. Hackney is currently still at Upstate Medical Center recovering from his injuries sustained in the accident.
