The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on 07/12/2012 at 3:50PM Deputies responded to the intersection of Route 96 and Brewer Rd. for the report of a personal injury motor vehicle accident. Upon investigating the accident, Deputies determined that Jeremy A. Castle, age 29, of 393 Wagner St. Lot 52, Waterloo, NY was traveling Northbound on Brewer Rd. when he stopped at the intersection of Route 96. Castle then failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle traveling west bound on State Rte 96. That vehicle was being operated by Nancy J. Pilbeam, age 49, of 205 Glasgow St. Clyde, NY. Pilbeam complained of neck pain and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. Castle had complaints of head pain and was also transported to Geneva General by North Seneca. Castle was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and needed to be towed from the scene.
