31st Lap Live Remote Set For Thursday in W’loo

The 31st Lap Live will air from Amy’s Checkered Flag in Downtown Waterloo, NY Thursday Night.The show begins at 7:15 pm.The guest list includes some of the most fabled names in racing, including call-in guests Bobby Allison, 1983 NASCAR Winston Cup series Champion; Mike McLaughlin, NASCAR Busch Grand National winner and NASCAR Modified Series Champion; Buzzie Reutimann, 1972-73 winner of the Super DIRT Week main event; and Ron Fellows, a former winner with the NASCAR Busch Grand National Tour.Live guests include John McArdle and John Podolak; John was previously misidentified as Bobby Podolak in a previous press release. The 31st Lap regrets the error.Racers from all over, both past and present, are anticipated to arrive, as well. Empire Super Sprints stars Bobby Parrow, Mike Stelter and third-place all-time career winner Lance Yonge are expected. Legends such as Rollie Velte, Ron Narducci and John Birosh are expected to attend.Local radio personality Racin’ Randy Salerno, a regular on ‘The Break Room’ morning show on 96.5 WCMF is expected to attend, and four-cylinder modified racer Tom Fletcher said he will be bringing his car down.All drivers, teams and race cars are welcome.A strong contingent of drivers from Canandaigua Motorsports Park are expected, and the Dirt Motorsports Hall of Fame will be on hand, and will have a Hall of Fame racecar parked curb side.The 31st Lap Podcast, with hosts Mike Mallet, John Baumes and Rich Post and producer/host Chris Marquart, airs live every Thursday night on Fingerlakes1.com and can be found online at Fingerlakes1.tv.On-demand viewing is available online at 31stLap.com, and can be found on YouTube and Facebook.
