Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two criminal incidents which occurred at Martins Point in the Town of Owasco sometime overnight Thursday June 22 to Friday June 23rd.Unknown persons attempted to gain entry to the storage garage located near the swimming pool by kicking and damaging the walk in door. No entry was made and no items were stolen.The same night, unknown persons entered onto a docked pontoon boat in the same area and stole a Sony CDXGT 240 stereo system. Due to the time frame and the proximity of these two crimes it is believed that they are related.Anyone with information is asked to contact Lieutenant Joseph Weeks at (315) 253-3902.
