Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 2670 Swick Rd in the Town Of Romulus for a structure fire at the Hollow Creek Farm Market. When Deputies arrived on scene the structure that housed the refrigerator compressors was fully engulfed. The structure was a total loss. Two other structures, the grocery store and garage had damaged as well. The estimated dollar loss was approx. $40,000.00. The business is owned by Emma Swary age 57 of the same address. The owner was burning a pile of boxes, near the structure that spread causing the building to catch fire. The Romulus Fire Dept, The Ovid Fire Dept. were on scene and extinguished the fire. South Seneca Ambulance and Seneca County Codes also responded to the scene. The structures were insured by Amish Aid, and no one was in the business at the time of the fire.
