Pedestrian injured in Geneva on Thursday evening

On 6.14.2012 @ 5:42 pm a motor vehicle pedestrian accident did occur at the corner of South Cloverleaf Drive and Hamilton/Rts 5 & 20.Based upon witness reports the pedestrian in this matter (Julie E. Hembeck, 22 YOA, Wappingers Falls, New York) was struck by Land Air Express – 2006 International Tractor and Trailer driven by Timothy J. Zrebiec, 50 YOA of Manlius New York. The accident occurred as the tractor trailer made a turn from South Cloverleaf onto Hamilton Street.Based on witness accounts the pedestrian was crossing Hamilton Street in the area of the South Cloverleaf where no crosswalk was present.At the current time, the investigation continues. NYSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement was requested to the scene.
