Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an accident at the intersection of Rte 96 and Pre Emption Rd., in the Town of Waterloo Wednesday evening. Deputies report that Jacinda Johnson, age 35, of 67 Rte 96, Geneva, NY, was traveling east on Rte 96, when she attempted to turn right on Pre Emption Rd.Johnson’s vehicle was traveling to fast to negotiate the turn, striking a stop sign, then into an abandoned house.Johnson was checked over for injuries by North Seneca Ambulance personnel and released at the scene. Johnson was charged with DWAI Drugs and Failure to Keep Right. Johnson was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Waterloo court on July 5th to answer the charges. Deputies where assisted at the scene by Border City Fire Department.
