The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on May 24, 2012 Sheriff Deputies arrested Kemal D Rideout, age 17 of 4887 State Route 96A Romulus NY for two counts of Attempted Assault 3rd degree, one count of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and one count of Menacing 2nd degree. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in the Town of Varick where it is alleged that Rideout initiated a physical altercation with a male subject, choked the male victim to the point where he could not breathe and also threatened him with a dangerous object. Rideout was arraigned at the Varick Town Court where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash $1000 secured bond. He is scheduled to reappear on May 30, 2012 at 7:00pm.
