Warrant arrests in Seneca County – FingerLakes1.com Archive

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, Deputies arrested the following individuals on Bench Warrants issued out of the Town of Ovid Court:Jonathan C. Steger, age 26, of 2445 County Road 130, Ovid, NY, was arrested on Main St. Ovid after Deputies observed him leaving a local business. Steger had a Bench Warrant for Violation of Conditional Discharge for a previous conviction of Driving While Intoxicated. Steger was arraigned at the Town of Ovid Court and committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $1000 cash $2000 B ond. He is scheduled to re-appear on 06/12/2012 at 10:00AM.Thomas J. Staples, age 25, of 3623 Mechanic St., Interlaken, NY, was arrested at his home on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Pay Fine on previous convictions of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Mischief 4th. Staples was arraigned at the Town of Ovid Court where he paid his fines and was released on his own recognizance.Stacy W. Kelly, age 49, of 3714 County Road 150, Interlaken, NY, was arrested at his home on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Pay Fine on previous convictions of Driving While Intoxicated and AUO < /span> 3rd. Kelly was arraigned at the Town of Ovid Court where he paid part of his fine and was released on his own recognizance.
