Auditions for GTGYT’s summer musical “Les Misérables” will be Saturday June 9 & 10. Young people between the ages of 10 and 19 are invited to audition for this summer’s production of “Les Misérables” school edition. Les Miserables is the longest running musical in the world, now in its 27th year. Broadway’s legendary musical has been specially adapted to meet the needs of young performers. Registration & auditions for Les Miserables will take place at Trinity Church, 520 South Main St in Geneva from 10:00am-2pm on Saturday June 9th (10am-12pm 4th-7th graders, 12pm-2pm 8th-12th graders) and from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday June 10th (1pm-2pm 4th-7th graders, 2pm-3pm 8th-12th graders). If you would like to participate, but cannot attend either audition date, please contact Larry Ann Evans at 315 946 6686. Those who wish to perform in Les Misérables should bring a photograph of themselves, their summer schedule and should expect to do a short audition which will include some acting, singing, and dancing. Please come prepared to tell a short story or anecdote to tell at auditions. All those wishing to participate will be accepted into the program.The Youth Theater will rehearse from 11:30-3:30 from June 25 – July 26 at the Geneva High School auditorium Monday – Thurs. Rehearsals on Friday June 29, July 6, 13 & 20 will be held at the Presbyterian Church (24 Park Place, Geneva).The performances will take place at the Geneva High School Auditorium on July 27 & 28 at 7pm and July 29 at 2pm.
