Results of Seneca Falls Little League games completed during the week of 5/7 – 5/13, 2012.************************Division: Boys Major League BaseballDate of Game: 5/6/12Time of Game: 4:00Score: 6 Ciccinos Pizzeria Vs. 5 All Creatures Veterinary Hosp.Winning Team Highlights:Jeremy Howe, William Rhinehart, and Jackson Puylara all had RBI’s and hits. Howe’s was a double that hit the fence. Roy Kane, Zach Doeing, Sal Franzone, and Owen Smith added hits as well. Jeremy Howe got the win and William Rhinehart picked up the save.Other Team Highlights:Spencer John had 2 hits including a triple. Trent Youngs and Nick Hartwell added a doubles. Patrick Jenkins picked up a hit as well.************************Division: Girls Minor League SoftballDate of Game: 5/9/2012Time of Game: 6:00pmScore: 3 Bill Cram Chevrolet Vs. 13 Ferrara LumberWinning Team Highlights:Margeux Eller and Natalie Cross had 3 hits apiece for Ferrara Lumber. Vanessa Caratazollo and Shea McConnell pitched great games for the victors.Other Team Highlights:Anastacia Earle had 3 hits on the night for Bill Cram. Aubrey Gill and Katie Matthews each had 2 hits for Bill Cram.************************Division: Boys Major League BaseballDate of Game: 5/09/2012Time of Game: 6 PMScore: 4 Max’s Custard Vs. 8 All Creatures Veterinary Hosp.Winning Team Highlights:On a soggy Wednesday night, All Creatures brought down the last undefeated team, Max’s Custard, in a slug-fest. Nick Hartwell led the charge belting two consecutive homers and a double (5RBIs). Jeffrey DeJohn nailed two triples (2RBIs), while Trent Youngs doubled and singled. Spencer John singled twice and Daniel Lerch singled (1RBI).Jeffrey DeJohn is credited with the pitching win, striking out nine batters.Other Team Highlights:Keegan Baker plugged his first LL homer (in memory of his late uncle) and doubled twice (3RBIs). Hunter Haust hit an RBI single. Jordan Love singled twice, while Thomas Lapp and Jesse Kabat both singled.************************Division: Boys Major League BaseballDate of Game: 5/10/12Time of Game: 6:00Score: 3 Ciccinos Pizzeria Vs. 7 Max’s CustardWinning Team Highlights:Jesse Kabat pitched a complete game giving up 3 hits and was 1 for 2 at the plate with 2 walks. Cameron Cupp and Keegan Baker had 2 hits each with Thomas Lapp collecting a double and Devon Rasbeck and William Palmer adding singles.Other Team Highlights:Jeremy Howe hammered 2 hits and Zach Doeing doubled for Ciccinos Pizzeria. Owen Smith made a great catch in center field for the 3rd out in the fourth inning.************************Division: Boys Major League BaseballDate of Game: 5/11/2012Time of Game: 8:00PMScore: 9 Roloson Electric Vs. 6 All Creatures Veterinary Hosp.Winning Team Highlights:Kellen Caraher struck out 9 batters and allowed 2 hits to pick up the win on the mound. David Grabbatin came on to close the game out and register the save. Joe Robinson went 2 for 3 at the dish. Devin Anderson chipped in with a triple and score 2 runs. Ben McDonald was 1 for 1 with a double and 2 runs scored. Grabbatin also collected a double at the plate.Other Team Highlights:Nick Hartwell went deep into night with a 3-run home run for All Creatures. Spencer John made the defensive play of the game in centerfield with diving catch to start a double play that ended 5th innning. Devin Veeder collected a double for All Creatures************************Division: Boys Major League BaseballDate of Game: 5/12/12Time of Game: 11:30AMScore: 3 Roloson Electric Vs. 2 Stevers’ GarageWinning Team Highlights:Joe Robinson and Devin Anderson teamed up to no-hit Stevers’ Garage. Robinson pitched 5-2/3 innings while striking out 15 batters. Anderson came on to get the final out in the 6th inning and picked up the win. Kellen Caraher went 2 for 2 at the plate and scored 2 runs. Robinson picked up the game winning RBI, driving in Dylan McMillan from 3rd base in the bottom of the 6th. Devin Carey made the play of the game beating the 3rd basemen to the bag on the Robinson ground ball. David Grabbatin added a single and RBI to support Roloson. Other Team Highlights:Jarret Follet pitched an outstanding game for Stevers’ going 5 innings while striking out 11 hitters and allowing just 3 hits. ************************
