A 64-year old Phelps man was killed when his vehicle left Guyanoga Road in the Town of Jerusalem on Sunday. Jackie Allen, who operated a barbershop in Geneva was traveling at 80 mph when his vehicle hit a tree.An autopsy performed on Monday determined death by massive internal injuries as result of head on crash into a tree demolishing the vehicle.Toxicology found presence of prescription medications, illegal drugs, and a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit at the time of the crash. Sheriffs Accident reconstruction deputies estimate the speed of the vehicle in excess of 80mph at the time he lost control. “Driving while intoxicated by drugs and alcohol traveling at high speed is a prescription for disaster”, said Sheriff Spike.
