A 64 year old Phelps man is dead following a crash on Guyanoga Road in the Town of Jerusalem, Yates County on Sunday evening at 5:38 pm.Jackie D. Allen, who operated a Barber Shop near Geneva, NY and resides on Exchange Street in Phelps, NY was killed.According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Department, excessive speed was an apparent factor. Further toxicology tests are being done to test for drug or alcohol involvement.An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
