Seneca Falls Firefighters responded to 2163 Black Brook Rd. for the report of a chimney fire. Seneca Falls Police arrived and reported smoke and flames showing. First arriving fire department units reported a working fire in a one-story ranch home. The fire was under control in about 25 minutes and extensively damaged the home. The American Red Cross assisted the occupants. Waterloo Fire Dept. and North Seneca Ambulance assisted at the scene and the Fayette Fire Department provided a fill-in at the Seneca Falls Station. The fire was determined to be accidental.
