03/15/12 at 3:35 P.M. Waterloo Village Police Dept. responded to a vehicle/pedestrian PIMVA on Fayette Street (St. Rt. 96) in the Village of Waterloo. Allen L. Larsen, age 63, of 7 Jellicle Lane, Waterloo N.Y., was traveling north on Fayette Street, and operating a shuttle bus owned by Geneva General Hospital-Nursing Home. A pedestrian by the name of Krysta Bruch, age 16, of 2913 St. Rt. 96, Waterloo, N.Y., was walking on the edge of the roadway on Fayette Street, in a southbound direction. Bruch entered the roadway where she was then struck by the vehicle Larsen was operating. Bruch suffered serious head injuries, and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight Central. North Seneca Ambulance, Waterloo Fire Dept., and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Dept. assisted at the scene. Bruch was admitted to the hospital for the injuries she received. The accident is still under investigation.
